TRIP BACK TO BARBUDA FOR VOTERS
Wednesday 21st March 2018

21st March 2018 - Barbudans who were brought over to Antigua to vote in general elections can begin returning to the sister-isle this afternoon. One of the boats - Excellence, that can accommodate over a hundred individuals, will be making a trip to Barbuda at 4:00 pm.

Tomorrow, the Barbuda Ferry will be making two trips – one at 9 am and the other at midday.

Barbudans who wish to return to Barbuda should be at the dock in time for the trips. It will be on a “first come, first serve” basis.

The National Office of Disaster Services (NODS) has been collaborating with the Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission to facilitate the Barbudan electors voting in Antigua. They were transported to Antigua from the sister-isle and provided with accommodation, meals and transportation to and from the voting stations.
