MINISTER EXTENDS BEST WISHES TO PARALYMPIAN Friday 31st August 2012
With the start of the 2012 Paralympic Games London, Minister of State with responsibility for Sports, Sen. Hon. Winston Williams Jr. extends best wishes to the first National Paralympic Athlete, Jamol Pilgrim as he represents the country in Track and Field in the 100 metre T42 Race.
The first round of the race will take place on September 7, 2012 with the finals slated for later that same day. Senator Williams stated that the Jamol can be assured of the full support of the Government and nation of Antigua and Barbuda as he carries the flag with pride both on and off the field of play.
Senator Williams calls upon all Antiguans and Barbudans to support Jamol in his bid to make history for Antigua and Barbuda as being the first to medal in a Paralympic Games, by sending best wishes to this brave young athlete via Facebook and follow his progress here!
