Afia Charles was born on 22 July, 1992. She is a sprinter from Antigua and Barbuda who specializes in the 400 metres. Charles is 5 feet 7 inches tall. She attends the University of Central Florida (UCF), where she competes for the UCF Knights track and field team. In her freshman year she won the bronze medal in the 400 metres at the 2011 CARIFTA Games held in Montego Bay, Jamaica; competing for Antigua she set a new personal best time of 54.23 seconds. She broke the freshman and school records for the outdoor 400 metres, setting a time of 53.6 seconds and was a member of the 47 × 400 metres relay team that competed at the 2011 NCAA Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship.[2] In her sophomore year she set another school record by running 54.17 seconds on her way to winning the gold medal in the 400 meters at the C-USA Indor Championships.

Daniel Everton Bailey, a male sprinter from Antigua and Barbuda, was born on 9 September, 1986. He specializes in the 100 metres. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 150 lbs. He came to prominence in 2009 with a 100 m win on the IAAF Golden League and a fourth place finish at the 2009 World Championships in Athletics. He was the bronze medalist over 60 metres at the 2010 IAAF World Indoor Championships and has also won sprint medals at Caribbean regional level. His personal best of 9.91 seconds is the Antiguan national record over 100 m. Bailey represented Antigua and Barbuda at the 2004 Summer Olympics, the 2006 Commonwealth Games and the 2008 Summer Olympics. In Beijing he competed at the 100 metres sprint and placed second in his heat. He qualified for the second round in which he improved his time to 10.23 seconds.

Karin Clashing O’Reilly was born on 21st August, 1992. She is 5 feet 8 inches in height and weighs 170lbs. She started swimming at the tender age of 4 and from there on, joined the Wadadli Aquatic Racers. Some of her swimming achievements include: Represented Antigua at OECS Swimming Champs 2005, 2006, 2008, represented Antigua at Carifta 2005, 2006, represented Antigua at the Worlds Championships, Rome 2009 – 5k open Water, and ABASA open water 1 mile female champion 2005, 2006 to name a few. She hopes to attend more Regional and International meets. Her career goal is to become an entrepreneur in the hospitality industry and in cosmetology.
