STEPHEN AWARDED OLYMPIC SCHOLARSHIP Monday 26th March 2012
 The Antigua and Barbuda Olympic Association in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee is pleased to announce that Mr. Stephen Joseph has been awarded an Olympic Solidarity Scholarship to participate in the International Coaching Course (ICC) pursuing training in sports science in the discipline of Football at the Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary.
The objective of the scholarship allows the participant to follow a specific sports training course so as to update his knowledge and increase his professional experiences.
The training includes training theory, sport physiology, sport pedagogy, sport psychology, athletic conditioning, sport and research, and sport sociology as well as technical and practical aspects of coaching Football.
Mr. Joseph departed Antigua on March 18th 2012 and is scheduled to return on June 09th, 2012.
The Antigua and Barbuda Olympic Committee take this opportunity to encourage all coaches to check with their National Federations for information on the following upcoming courses:- International Coaching Course (ICC) and International Coaching Enrichment Certificate Program (ICECP).
