10TH ANNUAL CPTSA FEMALE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT FINALS Wednesday 16th November 2011
Defending Champions 5P's and Star Girls will meet in the finals of the 10th Annual CPTSA Female Football Tournament scheduled for Sunday, November 20th at the Johnsons Sports Stadium.
Star Girls emerged unbeaten from the league with 18 points, while 5P's who have captured the CPTSA Female Football Championship in 2009 and 2010 and the ABFA Women Football Championship, earlier this year, finished with 9 points, but with one game remaining, and that against Police, which is only of an academic interest.
The Championship game will start at 3:30 P.M. after the 3rd Place match-up between Police and Wings, which starts at 2:00 P.M.
The Presentation of Awards will take place immediately after the Final Game.
Besides, the team trophies and medals, awards will be presented to the:
1. Most Valuable Player
2. Most Outstanding Rookie
3. Most Goal Scorer
4. Most Assists
5. Best Defensive Player
6. Most Outstanding Goalkeeper
7. Selection of All Tournament Team
8. Most Outstanding Coach
The 10th Annual CPTSA Female Football Tournament is sponsored by Hutchinson (Antigua) Ltd., and Antigua/Barbuda Social Security
All players are requested to be at least 45 minutes before the start of play. Awards will be presented only to the player called. No one else will receive an award in a player's absence.
Admission to the finals is EC$ 5.00
