1ST ADVANCED SPORTS MANAGEMENT COURSE EXTENDED Friday 3rd September 2010
Due to the passage of Hurricane Earl the Antigua and Barbuda Olympic Association has extended the deadline for the 1st Advanced Sports Management Course to the end of working day on Monday 6th September.
Olympic Solidarity and The Antigua and Barbuda Olympic Committee have joined to provide a unique opportunity for Olympic Sport Organizations, including the National Olympic Committee, National Associations, and organizations responsible for the development of Olympic sport to expand their managerial skills and core competencies while gaining a recognized professional certification in the international sporting community and beyond. Each National Association can register two members.
Registration has started August 4th and forms could be had and submit to the Olympic Office on Redcliffe Street, tel. 462 3476. The deadline for submission of applications from interested persons was set for Tuesday August 31, 2010. However, due to the passage of Hurricane Earl, several associations and persons called requesting time extention as their electricity and internet was down on the set deadline. The Antigua and Barbuda Olympic Association has extended the deadline to the end of working day, on Monday 6th September 2010.
The 1st Advanced Sports Management Course is free to all Olympic Sport Organizations, including the National Olympic Committee, National Associations, and organizations responsible for the development of Olympic sport.
