RORC CARIBBEAN 600

Yes, it's that time of the year again!

For the 15th Caribbean 600 over 70 boats have now entered and will be arriving on island very soon.

The RORC race team arrived on island on Sunday 12th and as usual will be based in the AYC event center.

This year there is a new event called the NELSON'S CUP - this is a 3-race series that includes the 360 event and will take place on the 13th ,14th and 17th.

All starts will be off Fort Charlotte.

PLEASE NOTE:

The AYC car park will be closed to ALL traffic except for deliveries and set up vehicles on 2 days only.  SATURDAY 18th and FRIDAY 24th

 As always, the event would not be possible with the involvement of so many willing volunteers, many being AYC members. We thank you in advance for your help and co -operation!!

Please be aware that due to altered land ownership- 

Foot access to Fort Charlotte is only available via the steep footpath at the far end of Freemans beach.

There is no vehicle access or parking except for RORC vehicles via the Galleon Beach Complex.

National Parks have agreed to allow free access to Shirley Heights on the morning of the race start - MON 20th.

The first start is at 11.00. 

The start will be live on FB from approx. 10.45.
