Over the past 2 years, the Dog Control Authority has not been able to serve the community. Most calls to Dog Control go unheeded because of a lack of transportation to pick up dogs. The Unit should meet its statutory legal duties under the Dog Control Act, and its moral duties in playing a key role in working with voluntary organisations and individuals in addressing stray dog and animal cruelty in Antigua.

A petition has been launched by the group, Dogs and Cats of Antigua to assist in the cause to the Hon. Prime Minister Gaston Browne and 500 signatures are needed, so far 223 signatures have been accumulated. To help out you can sign the petition in helping them reach their goal.
