The boy’s training school bee keeping project received support from Playtech Antigua’s charity arm. The project aims to not only educate the residents on beekeeping but also benefits from the sale of honey produced. Funds generated from the sales are used to satisfy a variety of the schools needs. After working together on the prison health supply project medical volunteer Doctor L. Powell contacted Playtech’s local manager Nigel Pigott to coordinate the effort on behalf of the training school. The gaming software company has pledged further support to the school, which he states is a school doing a lot with limited resources.
The principle Mrs. Hector is hoping that the private sector will participate more to make life for these troubled youths more comfortable and productive than it currently is but the task is daunting. She stated that with maximum effort she hopes to achieve maximum results in guiding the boys towards better futures.
