POETRY COMPETITION DEADLINE EXTENDED Thursday 8th November 2012
The Community Development Division in the Ministry of Social Transformation wishes to advise the general public that the deadline for the Poetry & Research competition has been extended from 9th - 16th November, 2012.
This was due to the slow and late responses from the Schools.
The general public also reminded the Poetry and Research component of the (H.F.G.F) is being conducted among the age groups 7-12 years, 13-18 years and 19-35 years. Youths are encouraged to enter poems based on the theme of the Homes Families and Garden Festival “Think Beautification for the Nations Health & Wealth” or research paper based on the history of his or her community, notable persons or events.
All Poetry and Research pieces accompanied by completed entry forms should be sent to hafg.porecom@gmail.com or call 562 -7243.
