TOURISM HUMAN RESOURCES CONFERENCE
Friday 18th March 2016

This year, The Caribbean Tourism Organisation’s Tourism Human Resources Conference will  focus on one of the most important topics for tourism practitioners, ‘Making Excellence a Habit: Service, Loyalty and Profitability in Caribbean Tourism’.  

This is the first time that the conference will be held in Antigua, and is a great opportunity for Tourism & Hospitality Practitioners,  Human Resource Professionals, Tourism Educators/Trainers, Representatives of Tourism Destination Management Organisations, Tourism Consultants and Tourism & Hospitality Students.

Through a series of thought-provoking presentations you will find out how you can  develop yourself or your team to meet the changing demands of the market to ensure the success of your business.

The conference programme includes topics such as:

  • From Good to Great: Driving Leadership and Organizational Excellence
  • Seeking Excellence Through Continuous Improvement – A Formula for Business Success
  • A Quality Approach – Enhancing Reputation & Profitability and Minimizing Risks
  • Using Metrics Effectively to Propel Business Performance
  • Health Igniting Performance
  • Increasing Customer & Brand Loyalty

The three-day intensive programme will include (2) highly interactive and practical Master Classes facilitated by very knowledgeable and dynamic subject experts.  One master class will seek to enhance participants’ understanding and awareness of how the process of continuous improvement can contribute towards the pursuit of service and business excellence, while the second master class will delve into the topic of how to increase customer and brand loyalty.

The conference takes place at Jolly Beach Resort and Spa, and is being held in collaboration with the Antigua and Barbuda Ministry of Tourism, Economic Development, Investment & Energy  from May 11 – 13, 2016.

Local Registration rates apply and there are also group rates available for 3 or more persons attending from the same organization.
