ANTIGUA & BARBUDA TOURISM AUTHORITY

The Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation and Culture in collaboration with the Antigua Hotels & Tourist Association is inviting you to come celebrate Tourism Week 2012 from June 17th to 24th.

The theme for this year’s celebrations is Service Excellence Antigua & Barbuda: Live It, Give It, Celebrate It.

The week will commence with a church service at the Spring Gardens Moravian Church on Sunday 17 June at 9 am.

On Monday June 18 stay tuned to all local media houses as tourism industry leaders and stakeholders will engage the general public for Talk Tourism Day.

Various media representatives will be given a first-hand experience of the newest additions to our local tourism product on Tuesday June 19^th Tourism Media Blitz Day.

On Wednesday 20th June, the shining stars within industry will be honored at the National Tourism Awards at Grand Sandals Antigua commencing 7 pm. The Ministry of Tourism will launch the National Service Excellence Initiative on Thursday 21st June at the Jolly Beach Hotel commencing at 9:45 am.

The Antigua Hotels and Tourist Association spearheaded “Be a Tourist for a Day” initiative will see special offers on day passes and weekend packages being offered to locals.

On the 23^rd and 24^th June respectively, all tourism stakeholders are invited to join in fun, camaraderie and a chance to unwind with a Sports Day activity at YASCO commencing at 10 am and a beach picnic at Friars Beach from 12 pm until.
