A 20/20 MASTERS CRICKET FESTIVAL WITH A DIFFERENCE
Friday 11th November 2011

In order to increase Sports Tourism on the Island, the Ministry of Tourism has partnered with
Richie Richardson Sports & Leisure along with Indigo Event Services to bring a 20/20 Masters Cricket Festival with a difference – combining cricket and music.

For the first time, the event will be hosting the world renowned Third World group who will be performing live in concert. ‘Word - of - mouth’ advertising is one of the most credible forms of advertising.

Thus, in an effort to promote Antigua & Barbuda, the team along with family and friends are given a memorable experience while in Antigua & Barbuda during and after the festival, with the aim that they will tell their family and friends back home about our twin island paradise.

The Lashings World X1 who is considered to be the world’s greatest cricket club will be attending the cricket festival this year. Based in Maidstone, Kent, the team has attracted a number of famous international cricketers and other celebrities to its ranks, starting with Richie Richardson, and including Brian Lara, Muttiah Muralitharan, Aravinda De Silva,
