The Ministry of Tourism's 15th Annual Model Boat race takes place this weekend Sunday, April 10th 2011, at the old premises of Archie's Fish House in Falmouth Harbour. Coordinator of the event, Mr. Gerry Daniel, Yachting Liaison Officer within the Ministry of Tourism says that this year's competition is deemed to be fierce.
Participants are eager to compete this year as they have added a number of features to their powercrafts anticipating victory in this year‟s race. It will be “Model Boat mayhem” as these avid boat lovers showcase their skills and compete for the title of “Model Boat Champion 2011!
Come out on Sunday; bring the entire family to enjoy this spectacular event. Spectators delight in an exhilarating race, delectable local cuisine on sale from local vendors and revel in the sounds of pulsating music within scenic Falmouth harbour. Race begins at 11:30 am!
