Antigua and Barbuda will be one of the featured destinations in the NBC-6 Ultimate Honeymoon Sweepstakes promotion, hosted by “6 In the Mix”, South Florida’s only live local entertainment and lifestyle program, which airs on the local NBC-TV affiliate.

With June being Romance Month in Antigua and Barbuda, The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority has been out on the road, promoting the destination, and paying special attention to the area of romance.

 Earlier this month, the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority’s Regional Marketing Consultant, Charmaine Spencer and Marketing Officer Mauricia Frith were in Trinidad for the Wedding Convention Exhibition.

"Trinidad and Tobago is a high performing market for the destination accounting for a major percentage of all regional business to the destination.  We have particularly noted that the Trinidad and Tobago market responds positively to the destination's romance promotions. Romance month was the ideal time for us to target this audience and extend offers to those persons directly interested in destination weddings and honeymoons. The Wedding Convention provided the perfect synergy for us to reach that wedding & honeymoon market," said Spencer.
