NEW CRUISE CALLS FOR ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA THIS WINTER Thursday 20th September 2018
LISBON, PORTUGAL (September 19, 2018) – Antigua & Barbuda is being represented at Seatrade Cruise Med, the Largest European cruise industry event and conference which started in Lisbon, Portugal, today (September 19).
Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority Board Director Nathan Dundas, is the destination’s sole representative this year, for the two day event, which provides an opportunity to meet with the European Cruise Lines to discuss their future calls to the Caribbean.
Dundas indicated that several successful meetings were held with major European Cruise Lines including Viking Cruise Lines, TUI Cruises, MSC Cruises,
P& O Cruise Lines, Ritz Carlton Cruises and Virgin Cruises among others.
According to Dundas, “the European cruise executives are very happy with their calls to Antigua and the newer Lines are looking forward to calling on Antigua in the near future”.
Antigua and Barbuda can expect calls from Ritz Carlton Cruises which is expected to start making calls for 2018/19 season while Virgin Cruises is expected to start calling during the 2020/21 season.
