ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA HOSTS SUPER50 CRICKET FESTIVAL Friday 2nd February 2018
Visiting cricketing fans can enjoy Antigua’s national sport during the Super 50 Cricket Festival, whilst taking advantage of the sunshine, white sand beaches and sipping on a rum punch as the sun goes down.

Ministry of TOURISM Partners with the West Indies Cricket Board for the Hosting of Super50 Cricket Festival
Over 20 Tourism Ambassadors will provide hospitality services at the West Indies Super 50 Cricket Festival Tournament being held from January 31st to February 24th, 2018.
The Tourism Ambassadors comprising of staff members from within the Ministry of Tourism as well as top graduates from the recent Tourism Cadet Corp cohort, have been tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that all patrons of the Super 50 Festival matches enjoy the best possible Antiguan Cricket experience.
Karen Joseph, Sports Tourism Officer within the Ministry of Tourism noted that the success of the Super 50 Cricket Festival will go a long way to assist in Antigua and Barbuda’s Sports Tourism marketing efforts. She lauds the organizers for the standards of professionalism attached to the Cricket Festival and hopes that such creative ideas will be adopted by leaders in other sporting disciplines on island to attract sports driven tourists from other parts of the world to visit Antigua and Barbuda.
The West Indies Super50 Cricket Festival will incorporate lots of local entertainment with party vibes and Cricket Lovely Cricket which has become synonymous with the sport in Antigua and Barbuda.
All Tourism Ambassadors participated in a training and acclimatization session at the Coolidge Cricket grounds. The Ambassadors are easily identifiable in uniforms depicting the word “AMBASSADOR” in bold letters on the back of their zone colored shirts.
