LEARN FRENCH WITH AHTA Monday 2nd December 2013
Press Release: With the recent developments with France and Guadeloupe and with the prospects of seeing more French speaking guests visiting the island in the coming months it is important that we can welcome them in their own language. It is therefore important that some of our front line employees speak and understand at least some basic French. The AHTA is proposing French lessons for hotel workers from the second week of January.
Classes will be held at the AHTA office in the evenings from 5.30pm to 7.30pm for beginners and 7.30pm for intermediary. The classes will be facilitated by Mme Florence Suttie who is the current French Honorary Consul to Antigua. Classes will commence on Monday January 13th. We are limiting classes to 8-10 persons and are hoping to run several beginners courses. The course will run for a term of 12 weeks and the cost per person per term is fixed at EC$400 and EC$450 for non members. Hotels contributing to the Tourism Development Fund will receive complimentary places.
If you are interested please contact Anthea at the AHTA Office on +1 (268) 462-3703.
