Carrie purchased her first property in Antigua in 2010. After falling in love with the island, she joined Stanley’s Estate Agents to help others discover the joys of living in Antigua. Carrie now focuses on assisting clients with the purchasing of their ‘dream Antiguan property’ as Stanley’s international sales representative based in Europe.

Having a 28 year career as a Bank Manager for Barclays Wealth International she brings extensive experience in the overseas property market, gained both from being the Barclays Wealth Business Development Manager for property financing in Portugal and also from financing multi-million $ property purchases for clients both in and around the exclusive Marbella area, Spain and Gibraltar itself where she was based.Originally from Colchester in the UK, much of her career was spent in the Isle of Man, a crown dependency about the size of Antigua where she retains close commercial contacts.

Having traveled the world extensively and enjoying scuba diving, sailing and swimming, Antigua seemed a natural choice for property purchase to benefit from its wonderful climate, stable environment and currency, good transport links and the benefits of freehold home ownership through the non citizen resident scheme.

As well as enjoying all the crystal clear blue waters have to offer, walking the stunning coastal paths of English Harbour national park with her partner Tony is also favorite past time. She is an ex international Water Polo player and county Netball player who teaches both Swimming and Water Polo in her spare time.

Most recently she supported her City of Liverpool team mates as a volunteer at the Water Polo event at the London 2012 Olympics. Enjoying a challenge, she has completed the London Marathon to raise funds for Children’s charities, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa and also swum 11.5k around Gibraltar.
