LAY DAY IS BACK Tuesday 27th April 2010
Missed by many in the last few years, Lay Day is back for Antigua Sailing Week 2010. Located at Antigua Yacht Club and the Antigua Yacht Club Marina the games will be happening on and around the dinghy dock so get there early to secure your seat.
The day starts at midday where free ‘Bloody Mary’s’ will give English Harbour Street Party goers something to kick start their ‘Lay Day’. Then from two o’clock there will be 8 teams, 6 games and 4 people per team competing for prizes throughout the afternoon.
The greasy pole is back on the agenda along with a limbo dancing shot drinking competition and a number of other exciting and amusing games guaranteed to keep thing lively.
Anyone who would like to enter a team needs to speak to Dave Fitzmaurice at Antigua Yacht Club by midday Wednesday to ensure participation. There will be prizes for the winners of each game as well as overall winners for the entire day. Come early and enjoy the entire afternoon with the crews who are lucky enough to be taking the day off from racing and taking time out to enjoy some island time.
