EAG MARCH NEWS

The EAG March field trip, in collaboration with Adventure Antigua, will take you Whale Watching!

Come see these gigantic but graceful marine mammals on their annual migration, with narrative provided by the experienced and well-educated staff of Adventure Antigua. The half-day trip will take place on Saturday 16th March, 2013, departing Jolly Harbour at 1pm. Check-in time is 12:30pm on the dock near the castle-shaped former casino building.

The trip venue will be based on up-to-the-minute sightings reported to the Antigua & Barbuda Whale and Dolphin Network personnel, although there are no guarantees of sightings during our trip.

The cost of the trip is EC$120 per person to be paid in full at the EAG office by 12pm on Wednesday 13th March, 2013,  drinks and a light snack will be provided.

There are ONLY 32 seats available so book early. We look forward to seeing you on this exciting trip.

100-Mile Walking Challenge with AUA

The American University of Antigua will team up with the EAG for part of its 100-Mile Challenge to celebrate Heart Health Month (February!). For the second consecutive year, the EAG has published a Wildlife of Antigua & Barbuda’s Offshore Islands 2013 calendar. The calendars are now available at the EAG office so email or call us at 462-6236 if you wish to make a donation to get your own copies or stop by the EAG office from 8am to 12pm, Monday to Friday. Calendars are also available at other outlets around Antigua, including On Deck, Mad Mongoose and Hamilton's Restaurant in English Harbour, Budget Marine in Jolly Harbour and Best of Books on St. Mary's Street. Your purchasing a calendar allows us to donate copies to all schools in Antigua & Barbuda free of charge.
