TURTLE TOURS ARE BACK
Friday 8th July 2011

Witness the magic of watching between 100 to 150 tiny sea turtles emerge out of the sand and clamber towards the sea with the Environmental Awareness Group (EAG). Nesting season for the Hawksbill turtles runs from around July through October. We will be leading our turtle tours to an offshore island every Friday starting July 15th for the entire nesting season. Beginning at 7 PM, the tour includes a short and beautiful boat ride, followed by 2.5 hours of beach patrol. Sights can include hatching baby Hawksbill turtles, or witnessing a mother climbing up onto the beach to lay eggs. Don't miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity. Spaces are limited so call today and book a spot!
