Big Banana Group of Companies is hiring for the Group Human Resources Administrator position below.
Summary duties and responsibilities:
- Maintaining compliant policies and procedures
- Administer the pre-employment process for new line employees e.g., reference checks, right to work.
- Preparation of line staff employment contracts and offer letters.
- Assist with the staff performance ensuring managers know when mid and annual reviews are due.
- Ensure the HR Database accurately reflects current staff conditions and details.
- Provide appropriate reports from the HR database as requested.
- Maintaining and upkeep of corporate files and documentation
- Management of Employee personnel records (hard and soft copies) Maintaining internal documents, which may include preparing, issuing, filing company documentation (e.g., vacation, sick leave, maternity leave, etc.)
Qualifications/ Requirements:
1. Minimum 1-2 years experience doing payroll in Antigua and Barbuda
2. Strong mathematical skills and strong attention to detail
3. Experience working in the hospitality and or food and beverage sector.
4. Fair working knowledge of national employment laws/practices
5. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
