“Best Excursion in Antigua!” Reviewed November 1st, 2012
I am a medical student at AUA and I stupidly waited to go to Stingray City the day before I had to come home. BIG MISTAKE. As a student, they offer a HUGE discount and the experience I had was incredible.
The rays are beautiful and they take your breath away. Once I finally moved away from them and was ready to snorkel, it was almost time to go! (I easily could have returned here MULTIPLE times!!)
The snorkeling was amazing too, saw some amazing fish, coral, jellies, you name it, it was there, and all in waters that weren't deep or intimidating. The water was beautiful too.
The employees are sweet and fun, patient and enthusiastic. I wish I had gone here as a stress reliever LONG ago. DON'T MISS THIS. Even if you're nervous about how you'd feel around such big, beautiful animals, you will be surprised at how at ease you become and how quickly. It's safe and it's a BLAST!!!! Just GO ALREADY! :).
