Of all the stunning houses in Antigua, Casablanca must come close to the top of the list, but there certainly cannot be anywhere with a more spectacular view. Nestled at the top of the secure gated community of Galleon Beach, Casablanca sits just below Shirley Heights with its iconic picture postcard vista of the sunset, except the view from Casablanca is even more stunning as it’s closer to Freeman’s Bay and Nelson’s Dockyard.

From the infinity edge pool, on a clear day Montserrat looks just a five minute swim away.

Casablanca, created with a strong  hint of Moroccan in both the design and the decor, has 3 main outdoor reception spaces, a dining terrace with a large seating area, a living room with all creature comforts, and a further external drawing room area, all with with panoramic views. Three of the 4 bedrooms also face the sea, including the principal bedroom, the fourth faces Shirley Heights, but in truth, it’s hard to decide which room would be your favourite. All have large double beds, with bathrooms en suite.

All rooms, terrace, pool etc are effectively on the same level, with the exception of one bedroom, a self contained 2 room apartment with full kitchen and terrace, which is one floor below. In fact all bedrooms except the master have their own terrace. Casablanca was created to attract the prevailing trade winds, with there always being a cooling breeze, and it’s large tanks provide a constant source of fresh water.

The house is complimented with a TV/ cinema room, with a large screen and stereophonic sound, and has access to all international channels plus the premium and subscription sports channels, and there is a Bose music System in the drawing room.

Casablanca is exquisitely appointed, with a collection of important British pop art. It is your ideal Caribbean haven.
