THE LADIES LEAD THE WAY AT PARTY MONARCH Wednesday 9th August 2023
18 talented artistes who took the stage for Party Monarch Carnival 2023. The ladies carried the day, with Claudette "CP" Peters retaining her 11th Groovy title and Hope 'Empress' Serrant carrying and Jumpy category.
In the groovy category, the results were as follows:
● Winner: Claudette 'CP' Peters
● 1st Runner Up: Dennis 'Menace XL' Roberts
● 2nd Runner Up: Lennard 'Young lyrics' Henry
Empress, a first-time soca monarch, stole the show with her mesmerising rendition of 'Let it Rain,' one of the season's most popular songs.
In the jumpy category, the outcome was as follows:
● Winner: Hope 'Empress' Serrant
● 1st Runner Up: Guerin 'DJ Who' Hunte
● 2nd Runner-Up: Kimberly 'Kimmy' King
