ABSAR DECEMBER 2017 NEWSLETTER
Tuesday 5th December 2017

The latest newsletter from ABSAR highlights their ongoing relief efforts in Barbuda and Dominica following hurricanes Irma and Maria. Also included is the Calendar of Events 2017 – 2018, along with their Wobbly Superhero Race for Treasure on 9th February 2018.

One to note is MRCC FF (Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre Fort-de-France) in Martinique, responsible for search and rescue coordination from Anguilla to St. Lucia. You’ll hear them occasionally on VHF 16 and if you put out a Mayday or Pan Pan, you will likely be heard by them.
