MEMBER SURVEY & END OF SEASON STATE OF THE INDUSTRY MEETING Friday 1st May 2020
Dear Members,
Please see quick updates on a new Member Survey, the date to put in your diary for our end of season State of the Industry Meeting, and the latest official update on the curfew including a new allowance to go to the beach on restricted days with specific guidelines. Please continue to be safe and we hope everyone is well.
Member Survey
Due to the current impact of the COVID-19 pandemic protocols and the resulting impact on businesses and their employees we would like to get feedback about the impact of this on our industry. Survey link available here.
We also want to take this opportunity to be able to collate overall levels of revenue generated by the yachting industry and the number of people it employs, so that we can clearly communicate with the government about the sector and its impact.
We understand the information we are asking for is confidential and as such individual organization information is only being used to generate the overall numbers and will not be shared. With that said, if you prefer, you can fill in the information anonymously.
We would appreciate if you can complete this by Wednesday, May 6, 2020 to enable us to collate the information.
If you have any queries, please call Alison on 725-4692 or Kemoir on 736-7697.
End of Season State of the Industry Meeting
As usual we would like to invite all members and stakeholders to our End of Season State of the Industry Meeting. It will take place at 10am on Friday, May 15, 2020.
The format will be the same as previous seasons where we will invite attendees to participate in a SWOT Analysis – Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats, encourage feedback from specific events and businesses and open the floor for Questions and Answers.
Given the Covid-19 Pandemic situation we would also like feedback on how this is impacting your business.
The meeting will be held via Zoom. If you have not previously used Zoom, click the link and you will be given instructions. It can be downloaded as an APP onto your device or a laptop or desktop.
