Job Opportunity: Beverage Manager
Location: Blue Waters Resort & Spa
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Beverage Manager to lead and elevate our world-class beverage program across our restaurants, bars, and the entire resort. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated individual to develop, oversee, and operate a thoughtfully curated, expertly executed, and competitively priced beverage program. The ideal candidate will ensure guest satisfaction, profitability, and consistency in every aspect of the resort’s beverage offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a global wine program with extensive selection.
- Create a delicious, innovative cocktail program that complements the resort and dining experience.
- Ensure top-tier quality in all beverage offerings, including coffee, juice, non-alcoholic beverages, and beer.
- Provide training and guidance to the team to meet sales goals, manage costs, and maintain guest satisfaction.
- Manage beverage inventories, recipes, costing, purchasing, and budgeting.
- Take a hands-on leadership role in daily bar operations, overseeing a team of supervisors and line staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience managing in a 4 or 5-star environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate a well-established team.
- A personable and guest-oriented individual who thrives in high-profile roles.
- In-depth knowledge of 5-star restaurant and bar service standards and sequence of service.
- Ability to operate within defined budgetary controls.
- Proficient in computerized Point of Sale systems.
- Experience in resorts, bars, or restaurants of comparable standards, especially in the USA, Europe, or the Caribbean, is a plus.
