JOB VACANCY: MOTOR BOAT CAPTAIN Friday 6th January 2023
Blue Waters Hotel is seeking a Motor Boat Captain
We are seeking applications from an able bodied, enthusiastic person with interest in hospitality industry to operate our Axopar 37 motor boat.
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful applicant will:
• Have experience, training, valid licence and certification in motorized boat operations including STCW, Eng1, a valid Antigua Boatmaster Licence 1 or 2
• Be able to conduct rescues if and when necessary
• Be able to assist in minor repairs on motorized boat
• Be able to swim 200 yards at any given time on the job
• Have good communication skills with a desire to interact with guests and coworkers, an even temperament and the initiative to work on your own but enjoy working as part of a team
• Possess a friendly and approachable personality
• Be dynamic, with a focused and structured approach to the job
• Be versatile and be willing to undertake routine tasks
• Have a good level of general education
• Be able to work flexible hours
• Previous experience in hospitality industry will be an asset
