ANTIGUA & BARBUDA OCEAN TRUST

PROTECTING OUR MARINE ENVIRONMENT

Antigua & Barbuda Ocean Trust (ABOT) is a volunteer-based, local non-profit organization that supports the conservation of the seas and shores of our twin islands.

Our Youth EcoDiver Program trains local youth members to scuba dive and to help protect our fragile marine ecosystems.

Our Volunteer Diver Group consists of experienced divers who help with a wide range of projects, including underwater cleanups, scientific projects, and becoming mentors for our Youth EcoDiver graduates.

Our Coastal Cleaner team cleans the more remote beaches and coastal areas, and we have created several community initiatives designed to educate visitors, locals, and youth.

These include our popular movie nights, focused on ocean conservation, our Marine Conservation Guide, and our safe sunscreen initiative.

ABOT also collaborates with other non-profits and welcomes anyone interested in joining a committed team that protects the marine environment and operates entirely through donations and the work of dedicated volunteers.

For more information or to become part of the volunteer team, please visit abocean.org.
