ELEARNING COMES TO DIVING Thursday 30th July 2015
SCUBA diving has taken a huge step into the modern world of online training. People wishing to take up diving, as well as divers wishing to upgrade their diving can now opt to do the acedmic portion of their course online.
How is this a benefit? You can save hours of classroom work on your holiday.
How does it work? Easy. You log on to either our website, www.divecarib.com and click on the eLearning icon, or follow this link. https://apps.padi.com/scuba-diving/elearning/?irra=16539
Follow the prompts and buy an eLearning package. The system leads you through all you need to know, with video clips and quizes. You even have your final exam. All the way through you can ask your instructor questions. Once completing your acedemics you come to us to complete the water work.
The water portion of the course consists of one day doing skills in shallow water, and two days doing fun training dives on the actual reef off our dive boat. 2 dives per day. So instead of using up 5 of your holiday days, you only need 3. One full day and two part days. That gives you much more time to enjoy Antigua. Maybe even do some more diving.
Also new is ScubaEarth. By registering for free, you have an online access to your personal log book, can link to your dive shop, comunicate with dive buddies. There is also a great new PADI app that is free. Packed with information and helpful resources for the modern diver.
