“HEAVENLY DINING IN A CARIBBEAN PARADISE” Monday 21st January 2013

One must decide" what makes a good restaurant?" Ambiance, location, type of food, quality of food and service? All good restaurants are not created equal! I believe Le Bistro is the most outstanding eatery in Antigua and probably one of the best in the Caribbean.
How this establishment ranks #26 is ludicrous. We have dined at Le Bistro 4 times in the past year the latest 1/5/13 and 1/8/13 excellent both times.
Specials we enjoyed were a Mushroom and leak tart, Escargot in crote as appetizers along with two Red Snapper entries. Regular menu items were perfectly prepared succulent Rack of Lamb and medallions of Veal in a Mushroom Cream Sauce. Desserts are all fresh and are to die for! Wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. Then there's the service; Phillipa the perfect host, Patrick a wonderful chef, Duke one of the best bartenders in the Caribbean, and the wait staff flawless.
Le Bistro is not inexpensive; but if on vacation or you just want an outstanding meal, treat yourself. You will not be disappointed.
