CURTAIN BLUFF ANTIGUA

Curtain Bluff Resort is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician/ AC Technician to perform preventative, routine and repair maintenance activities to ensure the safety and aesthetics of the buildings, the safety and efficiency of equipment and machinery. The maintenance technician performs maintenance services to ensure optimal performance of all site related resources. This is a key role requiring an experienced, pro-active individual.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on packaged units, split coil systems, air compressors, pumps, air handlers, air cooled condensers etc.
• Repair and maintain washers, dryers, and small appliances
• Plans, monitors, installs and adjusts the full range of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment by means of an energy management system hands-on work
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
• Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
• Maintain and repair machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings.
• Inspect and diagnose problems and figure out the best way to correct them.
• General building and site maintenance including construction.
• Basic carpentry projects and assistance as needed.
• Do general cleaning and upkeep of buildings and property.

The ideal candidate must have experience as follows:

1. Minimum two (2) years experience in HVAC trade
2. Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems
3. Electrical wiring capabilities to manage nelectrical problems
4. Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs
5. Interpersonal skills to interact with guests and colleagues in a pleasant manner
6. Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary
