This is where our juniors were tested as they came up against their peers in a battle of wills. Seth Joseph (St. Nicholas Primary) came up against a worthy adversary Aron Fields ( Halcyon Tennis/St. Andrews Primary) defeating him 4-2. The final match of the girls competition was truly a battle of wills as Ashley Berma( Halcyon Tennis /St. Nicholas Primary)took Aayana Evanson ( Halcyon Tennis/Sunny Side Tutorial ) to 4 all defeating Aayana in the tie break 7-4
None of this would have been possible without the help of our sponsors (Pinehill, Columbian Emeralds and Old Road Fund), our volunteers and our officials.
The level of play observed here today tells us that tennis is on the rise and we trust
that corporate Antigua will continue to support events such as these.
One more tournament left for February..... The ABTA will be hosting a
Girls 16 & Under Open on Saturday 23rdFeb, 2013 at Halcyon by Rex Resort.
