ITF JAMAICA JUNIOR TOURNAMENT UPDATE Wednesday 18th July 2012
As the ITF Jamaica Junior Tournament roll on good news came out of Kingston, Jamaica yesterday. In the boys U18 doubles competition Jody Maginely and his double partner Daniel Shebshayevich of the United States book their spot in the quarterfinals after defeating the Panamanian doubles team of Ariel Ilarslan Russo/Tobar Rodriguez. 6-3, 6-2
Failure came however for, (Seaboard Marine sponsored) Kyle Joseph & doubles partner Phillip Major who were ousted by Contreras Aramburu (MEX) / Gabriel Cleto (BRA) 2-6, 6-4 (10-7).
In the girls U14 doubles competion D'Jeri Raymond and her doubles partner Jamaican Shaeda Nickle took the doubles championship defeating doubles team of IIana Blackwood (BAR)/ Stephanie Davis (JAM) 6-1, 6-4.
