MORE SUCCESS FOR TEAM ANTIGUA Tuesday 3rd July 2012
Today was a day of mixed results for our juniors. Jody Maginley who secured a spot in round 1 of the U18 Main draw fell short of moving to round 2 losing to Peter Bertrand of Dominican Republic.
However, his mate Kyle Joseph showed true grit by over coming Joseph
Altmann of Costa Rica 6-2 , 6-3; Joseph Moves on to round 2 in his bid for
a quarter finals spot.
More success came from U14 girl player D'Jeri Raymond who defeated the
#1 seed Fabiana Morillo of Venezula 6-1, 6-0 securing her spot in the finals
which will be played on Wednesday 4th July, 2012.
As the tournament moves on we will see the commencement of
the doubles competition which is schedule to start tomorrow.
