TEAM ANTIGUA ONE WEEK OUT FROM TWAC START
Monday 4th December 2017

Depending on weather, the 2017 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge will start on 12th December. Team Antigua left Antigua on 25th November for La Gomera and since arrival, have been working on the boat each day to pass inspection and get ready for the 3000nm row home.

In their latest live video today, Eli explains their prep so far and what’s left before the start of the row. Once the race starts, the fleet can be tracked online through the race website, as well as on an app. Stay tuned for tracker info. Team Antigua will also be able to send photos and video thanks to a donated satellite device.

The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge requires each team to row and raise funds for a charity of their choice. Team Antigua is raising funds to create a properly managed marine protected area in Antigua with the help of the National Parks Authority. Funds raised will also be used to help Barbuda rebuild where possible. Donate to their charity here.

With just over a week to go to the start, follow the Team Antigua Facebook page for regular updates as well as the Atlantic Campaigns Facebook page for official race updates. Go Team Antigua!
