SPONSOR & SAVE A LIFE!
Dogs and Cats of Antigua, Inc is a registered non-profit working out of St. John’s, Antigua.
Our mission is to create a network of like-minded individuals across the island to assist animals in distress and increase the welfare and protection of dogs and cats on the island, through feeding, veterinarian assistance, spay and neutering, fostering and rehoming.
We have lobbied for greater enforcement of the laws that protect our animals. We are using all media platforms to try and influence a cultural mindset that sees these animals as objects not as sentient beings with a heart, mind and soul.
We are also dedicated to educating communities on proper animal care, stopping animal abuse, and promoting healthy and positive human and animal relationships to people of all ages and backgrounds
We are hoping to create an Antigua where starving and diseased stray dogs and cats are no longer the norm. We are hoping to create communities with healthy animals that are loved and wanted and their population growth controlled. An island that is truly a paradise for all God's creatures. A place where we are not embarrassed to be judged on the way we treat the smallest and most vulnerable beings among us. We are doing this one dog and one cat at a time, and for however long it takes.
As the universe of adoptive homes dries up in Antigua, we are working with our overseas partners to find wonderful homes for our dogs and cats abroad, but we need your help.
