Conde Nast Traveler in the US has just published its Readers’ Choice Awards for 2012, which are regarded as a barometer of the best in travel. 

 

Galley Bay Resort & Spa, Antigua, which is part of the Elite Island Resorts group, is listed as one of the top 30 best resorts in the Caribbean and appears at number 25.  

 

More than 28,500 readers responded to the independent Conde Nast Traveler readers’ survey and respondents were asked to vote for their favorite resorts based on location, overall design, rooms, food & dining and service. Galley Bay received an overall readers’ choice score of 84.4, which was an outstanding result.

 

In the week of World Travel Market in London, the worl d’s biggest travel trade fair, Galley Bay was also awarded best all-inclusive hotel Gold by customers of Virgin Holidays.

 

The Virgin Holidays’ awards, which were handed out at a special ceremony in London, are collated from the customer satisfaction questionnaires which guests complete as they return from their holiday.
