RYA DAY SKIPPER THEORY - SHOREBASED COURSE Monday 5th November 2012
The RYA Dayskipper Theory course is an introduction to chart work, navigation, meteroloy and seamanship. You will learn how to figure our tidal heights and streams and how they affect your course.
This is a 40 hr tuition over 5 days that teaches you how to identify the 'give way vessel' in the event of a collision risk, 'dead reckoning' and 'estimated positions' as well as buoyage, safety equipment, passage planning and much more.
