To help with children’s development
Swalings has started to use NFA soccer skills badge development
scheme. These awards help children to develop their football
skills, which brings in all the fundamentals that a child needs
to become a better footballer. The award scheme helps to
motivate, educate and give a sense of achievement to the
children. |

Swalings believes sports and
Football in particular can help greatly in a child’s
development. It helps with interaction with other children,
communication skills, hand eye co-ordination, body awareness,
social skills as well as the obvious physical and medical
benefits. All the activities they offer help in a child’s
development. |

Sport
for all
Swalings think Sport should
be accessible to all, not everyone is destined to be a star
of the future but everyone can come and enjoy playing
sports. We want to give children the basic understanding of
team games and sports so they can go on and enjoy them later
in life. 99% of the population is not going to become an
Olympic Athlete but everyone should be able to learn and
play sports. |

Swalings encourages children to have
fun whilst learning something new and exciting as well as giving
those who are destined for greatness the opportunity to learn
the sport and realise their potential. |

Coaches
All of Swalings Soccer coaches
are qualified by the English Football Association and are first
aid trained to internationally recognised standards. |
