PAAWS
gives priority care to orphaned, neglected or abused
animals. Ideally animals needing medical attention should be
taken directly to a veterinary clinic for treatment before
being presented at the shelter. PAAWS is
presently building additional kennels to be able to assist a
larger number of animals at any one time. Hosted animals
become socialized and familiar with a home/yard setting.

They
receive their vaccinations and, if 5 months or older,
are spayed/neutered before being re-homed
only to safe and caring environment. At six months and
older, dogs are micro-chipped according to law. |
