ANNOUNCING THE PASSING OF PETER RAMRATTAN
Monday 23rd January 2012

It is much regret that we have learnt that  former Chairman of Antigua Hotel and Tourist Association Peter Ramrattan died on Friday in the UK after a long battle with illness.

Peter served for many years as General Manger of the Hawksbill Resort until joining Rex in a regional role in 2003.

Peter was very active within the Hotel Association especially in the area of marketing where his past experience at BWIA served him well.

His daughter Sybil Ramrattan was a former Independence Queen of Antigua and Barbuda.

The Board and members of the AHTA would like to express their most sincere condolences to his family. Peter truly made a significant contribution to tourism in Antigua and Barbuda.
May his soul rest in peace.
