Apple water taxi. Apple is well known to most of us, and needs
our help immediately.
He just returned from having tests in
Barbados which revealed a very aggressive tumour which needs to
be surgically removed within the next week. The quote for this
procedure is 25,000 Barbados dollars, or around 12, 000 US
Apple is part of our yachting community, he
is one of us. If we can contribute together to help Apple, he
will be amongst us again next season driving his water taxi. If
we don’t he won’t be there .

as soon as possible.

International Women’s Club of Antigua & Barbuda would like to
announce that applications for their 2008 Scholarships are now
available at the Goldsmitty in Redcliffe Quay and at the Woods
Mall Gallery. Applications open to all women of Antiguan
nationality in pursuit of academic degrees or courses in the
fields of nursing, pharmacy, X-Ray Technician, education and
economic development.
The IWC stresses the importance of applying early. Application
form MUST be complete, include two academic Letters of
Reference, a one-page typewritten essay, the applicant’s last
two official academic transcripts, a letter of acceptance from
the chosen college, and a passport size color photo. NO
APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED IF INCOMPLETE OR RECEIVED AFTER
THE DEADLINE DATE OF MAY 20, 2008. Applications should be
